Weil Adds Bankruptcy Partner In New York; Expands Global Finance Practice With Addition In New York; Adds Corporate Partner In Dallas

International law firm Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP is pleased to announce that Ray Schrock has joined the Firm’s New York office as a partner to play a leadership role in its market-leading global Business Finance & Restructuring Practice.

Mr. Schrock has substantial experience leading complex corporate restructuring matters. He has extensive experience representing debtors, non-debtor parent companies and affiliates, secured and unsecured creditors, private equity funds, portfolio companies, and other major stakeholders in in-court and out-of-court restructuring matters.

Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP announced today that Damian Ridealgh has joined the Firm as a partner in the Global Finance Practice, based in the New York office. He is the fourth partner to join Weil’s Global Finance Practice since late 2013 and focuses primarily on the financing needs of the Firm’s private equity and corporate clients.

Mr. Ridealgh, 40, focuses on advising private equity and corporate clients, financial institutions and hedge funds in complex U.S. and European financings covering acquisitions, leveraged buy-outs, fund financing, real estate financing and asset-based loans. He is qualified as an English solicitor and worked in London until 2003, when he moved to New York. Mr. Ridealgh joins the Firm from Ashurst LLP, where he was a partner and led Ashurst’s U.S. banking practice. He was previously a partner at Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP.

The firm has announced that John Quattrocchi has rejoined them as a partner in its Private Equity and Mergers & Acquisitions practices. John is based in the Dallas office.

Mr. Quattrocchi, 44, who was most recently a partner in the Dallas office of Dentons US LLP, advises clients on a wide range of complex mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactions, including cross-border transactions, and has experience in a number of sectors, including hospitality, telecommunications, energy, automotive and healthcare, among others. He also provides advice on general corporate matters and corporate governance issues.
