Northeast Chapter Of The Association Of Corporate Counsel Announces Winner Of Pro Bono Award

The Northeast Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC-NE) proudly announces that Thomas Samoluk of John Hancock is the winner of its annual Pro Bono Award. The Chapter has given a check in the amount of $1.000 to the Boston Educators Development Foundation. earmarked for the Samuel Mason School account. in Mr. Samoluk's name.

Thomas Samoluk serves as in-house counsel and vice president. government relations at John Hancock. and is the coordinator of the pro bono efforts of the John Hancock legal staff. Their efforts take the form of organizing and conducting legal education for students in local schools and other initiatives to serve the community.

ACC-NE established its annual Pro Bono Award to recognize individuals. particularly those who serve in an in-house counsel capacity. who have made a substantial contribution to the communities in which they live and work.The Chapter has a steady history of charitable contributions and advocacy. seeking to strengthen ties between its members and the region.
